nVidia Drivers 178.x suck !

I tried to upgrade my nvidia drivers from 169.x (Sparkle 88000GT Coolpipe) and the results suck. The whole 178.x series drivers are an utter failure. The OS hangs (winxp+sp3), screen blacks out, sound hangs etc. I tried 3 different versions and the results were the same. Result: 177.83 work like a charm. I’ll stick to them for now.
