If you have an OS X machine you will proably feel enraged when you play movie clips on youtube as the flash plugin will suck all of your machines heart. No more. Visit http://www.youtube.com/html5 and apply for the html5 version of the site. Your system load will come down to a magical less than 5%. The reason behind this is because you skip the plugin and start using the embedded html5 feature to play video content online. Youtube decided to serve html5 content at the same time as flash content. I think it’s a clear win situation for the end-user. They have me at least on their side so far with this move.

Interior Design

I’ve always been fascinated by good design. Today I managed to watch “Objectified” and was again intrigued by it. Lately I find myself stumbling upon interior design images and I get sceptical weather I should start experimenting with some good interior design software. Time is of the essence for this semester though. So I guess time will tell!!!

Φυσικά και δεν παίζει με το OS X. Σνιφφάροντας όμως λίγο την κίνηση έπεσα εδώ πάνω: mms://62.103.160.125/wpasV2/0000007476/0000/pubmedia.wmv το οποίο είναι πολλά υποσχόμενο, το 7476 είναι το Media ID δηλαδή το video που ζητάμε και το 0000 πρέπει να είναι το timecode αν και δεν είμαι 100% σίγουρος καθώς μπορεί να είναι το επισόδιο. Μια φορά από QuickTime, Windows Media Player, VLC, MPlayerOSX παίζει απροβλημάτιστα. Η ποιότητα βέβαια είναι χάλια αλλά δεν περίμενα κάτι καλύτερο για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα.

I want to test some flight simulators. The goal is to find one that can simulate current european area aircrafts with the ability to test them on european grounds. Possible targets so far: Falcon 4.0 M$ Flight??? simulator (which version?) X Plane Eurofighter (tycoon?) Recently, there has been some big hype going on in the small county of Lexington. Lake Murray is home to the island called “Bomb Island” where the air force used to do test bombing runs and assorted other activities, leaving many pieces of history to be found.. Like this B25(EDIT: thanks for the clear up) bomber. A private collector organized this retrieval of the plane and plans on preserving it at a state university or something like that.

Hello, and welcome to another Vavilis’-all-the-money-show!. This article is a stub. Here you will find in the near future how Vavilis’ set up his addons. Don’t seek (yet) visual improvements. This section is for the addons that make my life easier. I will be listing the addons I am using and maybe some small description no why/how they work. If you have any suggestions you may post a (constructive) comment by proving the problem and a solution (at the same time).

MOL patches

I also have a patch that enables MOL to run Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. I added some necessary
assembly code. However, I haven’t looked at things like acceleration and the like that are
implemented in MOL, so I don’t know whether all those things are working with Tiger as they
should. Feedback welcome! Anyway, this HTML page is of course written on Tiger while running in
MOL. Here is the MOL Tiger patch.

Youtube is a movie gallery site based on flv technology. I installed a plugin to see how I can link some media from it right here. Here is the first (quite amusing) link:

I read about this before but now I finally found the complete solution on how this works and even more interesting tips and tricks on how to succeed on this.

What I am talking about? It’s about the 3hour sleep cycle on 24h basis (!)… I always wanted to know how to succeed in getting more productive hours of work and now the complete solution with additional information on how to not fail this is available online ..

Remember the good ol’ dayz of MT 2.x?.. After the point of no return where they commercialized it I stopped working with the whole thing called blogs. Writing that is. Well now that I am trying to resume with WordPress I think I should start importing from my old blog.

[update] Well I got news.. the good news are that the script worked .. the bad is that it failed.. so I will have to add the missing record myself by hand. Anyway.. I think I saw it coming. :/ Still, I am not going to do this today.. I think.. maybe after the weekend.
