If you have an OS X machine you will proably feel enraged when you play movie clips on youtube as the flash plugin will suck all of your machines heart. No more. Visit http://www.youtube.com/html5 and apply for the html5 version of the site. Your system load will come down to a magical less than 5%. The reason behind this is because you skip the plugin and start using the embedded html5 feature to play video content online. Youtube decided to serve html5 content at the same time as flash content. I think it’s a clear win situation for the end-user. They have me at least on their side so far with this move.
I’ve always been fascinated by good design. Today I managed to watch “Objectified” and was again intrigued by it. Lately I find myself stumbling upon interior design images and I get sceptical weather I should start experimenting with some good interior design software. Time is of the essence for this semester though. So I guess time will tell!!!
Φυσικά και δεν παίζει με το OS X. Σνιφφάροντας όμως λίγο την κίνηση έπεσα εδώ πάνω: mms://62.103.160.125/wpasV2/0000007476/0000/pubmedia.wmv το οποίο είναι πολλά υποσχόμενο, το 7476 είναι το Media ID δηλαδή το video που ζητάμε και το 0000 πρέπει να είναι το timecode αν και δεν είμαι 100% σίγουρος καθώς μπορεί να είναι το επισόδιο. Μια φορά από QuickTime, Windows Media Player, VLC, MPlayerOSX παίζει απροβλημάτιστα. Η ποιότητα βέβαια είναι χάλια αλλά δεν περίμενα κάτι καλύτερο για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα.
