Crysis WARHEAD
Don’t know why the warhead is in caps but it is. The title is not a followup on the original one but a parallel story on one of the other characters of the original plot. The game is quite enjoyable although now you DO need 4 8800GT to play it decently with all options on. The Graphics have four settings: minimal, mainstream, gamer, enthousiast. I was calculated as mainstream with my 8800GT (last generation and equal to a 9800 one), go figure. I guess less is spent these days on optimization than implementation on the GPU as was on the early days of the CPU. When power efficiency comes back as an issue we might see some better results with lower cards.
Back to the title now. The game features richer enviroments and much improved AI but you can now see the AI bots spaced far apart and in much less quantities now. Maybe a sign of how real world works? The title is too easy to finish (with my skills at least) at the normal setting. Try one click harder if you are like me and also try the Delta setting which is for hardcore gamers.
Verdict: I played through it but I didn’t get addicted
