We Want Apple Greece
I stumbled upon WeWantAppleGreece.com last week. It’s another effort to bring Apple in Greece. Things tend to be forgotten and somebody should finally start talking about the situation.
The site is built upon the foundations of http://www.helmug.gr and (now gone) unicode.helmug.gr which me and mitsakos created looong time ago. At that time nobody else than us two thought or did anything beyond imagination. It was a nice experience finding and socializing more than 2500 people that nobody new they existed in less than two years. It’s good to see that our absense finally made their minds spin a bit and get to work. I still stick to the original spirit of the organization which allowed me and mitsakos’ to get the exploding growth of the user group.
I hope to kickstart MacPro.gr within October but first i gotta’ get my exams off my back together with my vrochitis which plagues me for more than a week now.
