Slashdot | 2.5Gb/s Internet For French Homes
"Presence-pc at reports that France Telecom just announced they are offering 2.5 Gb/s Internet connections to select cities in the Paris region. For … $85(70 Euros) a month you also get free phone and TV. From the article (in French): ‘The historical operator opted for a GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) FTTH architecture (Fiber To The Home). This technology allows up to 2.5 Gbits/s download and 1.2 Gigabits/s upload.’"
I am flooded with information here. I have too many posts to make. I am considering the thought of grouping more and more of the links and either building a wiki (which is an old idea too) or posting more things in single posts.
On to some other news I visited my grandma’s sister at the clinic she is in atm and her roomates’ daughter was there. I was admiring a photo of her while I was there at past visits but now I saw her in real flesh and she is gorgeous. Heard she is 25 too which seemed a bit too young I think. Could be in the 30+ but then again she is so gorgeous I dont care much about it.
What the f* is going on with me? I am spinning my axes the last 3-4 months since my visit to Crete at the Easter holidays. Let’s hope I manage to finish off MCDN at least. I also subscribed for 18 months to a local gym. 30 euros per month but it’s very clean and roomy compared to many others. My goal is to get to my optimal weight in 5 months from now which is quite a hard goal. I am now training for >1h per day (avg 1h though) and about 1-1.5h/day swimming at the sea at Chalkidiki, combined with some diet I am following I can only cross my fingers.
I have tested most but should give them another try maybe.

Excellent flash animation depicting the way to think towards string theory. It shows how to imagine all the dimensions up to the 10th dimension. Very nice narration, very comprehensive and very quick way to get started with string theory (if that is what you want that is).
I guess the book is at least that nice too.
Imagining the Tenth Dimension – A Book by Rob Bryanton
I am shocked at the supidity amount of most u.s. officials. 8 out of 10 of these inventions are 100% vulnerable and completely useless. The rest isn’t even worth mentioning. The amoung of cash spent on so stupid ideas makes me think even more that I should start building my own ideas. This edu-year is going to be spent in finishing off university and my military. Next summer is the first summer the DN is going to work so if all goes well enough money will be set aside for hardware projects. I will reconsider at the next edu-year the whole concept as it pisses me off to see so stupid ideas getting actually paid. I wonder how much working-projects can earn from military.
