VPN thingy

from the post:
“If you don’t listen to the wonderful Security Now podcast, you most likely haven’t heard of Hamachi. Since finding about about it, I have to say it is one of the coolest creations on the the Internet.
Hamachi is a new peer-to-peer (P2P) tunneling network that allows you to make a network out of thin air. Your assigned a static 5.*.*.* ip address with your user name, and then you can create a network with 2 clicks! You just name the network, give it a password, and your done! For others to get on your network, they just have to click on “Join Network”, put in the name and password, then they are on your network! What makes Hamachi so great is that it works around NAT firewalls! I can use this to access my double firewalled computer in Louisiana, while I’m in Oklahoma! This may not seem exciting to you, but if you’ve ever had to deal with setting up remote networks, you’d be as happy with this as I am.
I put a web server on my computer, Abyss, and UltraVNC. I also assigned a DynDNS domain to my Hamachi IP address so that I could easily remember it. I am hosting a website within a virtual network on the Internet, now that’s just too cool. You can finally make your own network of friends, you could go so far as to making your own DNS system to make your own domains!
Hamachi is something everyone should be looking at, and since it’s easy, and free, why wouldn’t you?”
I think i’ll have to take a peek at this one.
